When I was a kid people would be like “you’re allergic to chocolate?” And I’d be like yes, but technically I’m allergic to cocoa overall…and they wouldn’t understand 🤣

Also, (most) coffee flavored protein shakes or almost all protein bars. Most coffee flavored shakes have cocoa but it’s under “natural flavors” so I dunno until I have my lips itch and swell and get a migraine.

i make homemade ice cream sandwiches if you lived near me I would make you some allergy safe because I took have tons of allergies and love helping others eat what they want

I had a teacher in 5th grade allergic to chocolate and we had a rule to never bring chocolate around her cause even being near it gave her allergic reaction

You can make a version of red velvet with white chocolate powder! Has a similar texture even if it can’t be considered a traditional red velvet cake, but you can make it so many more fun colors since you aren’t relying on the chemical reaction with the cocoa to give it color!
