@motherofhernature: I’m coming upon my sobriety anniversary this September. It’ll be 8yrs. I quit cold turkey & on my own but still struggled mentally/spiritually during these last couple of yrs. Never had the inclination to relapse but my “shadow” was eating me alive. This last year has been one of the most challenging yet most meaningful times of my life. The Eaton Canyon fires came through right after I had been in the trenches with family & so on yet I kept moving.
