@seedandwonder: ✨Looking for fun and engaging learning activities for your 2-year-old?✨ This carousel is all about simple toddler lessons that make learning playful and stress-free! At this stage, little ones are naturally curious, and introducing early concepts through hands-on activities helps build a strong foundation. In this post, you’ll find number identification activities that encourage your toddler to recognize numbers in a fun way—through toys, games, and everyday play. You’ll also discover easy ways to practice color identification, helping your child learn and name colors while boosting memory and observation skills. We also focus on organization skills, teaching little ones how to sort, categorize, and tidy up in simple ways that feel like play instead of chores. These activities build independence, problem-solving, and confidence. And finally, we touch on letter recognition, introducing toddlers to the alphabet through playful exposure, songs, and interactive learning. These lessons aren’t just educational—they’re designed to spark joy, curiosity, and creativity while keeping learning developmentally appropriate for 2-year-olds. Perfect for homeschooling toddlers, early childhood education, or just adding a little learning fun into everyday routines! 🌟

I have a 19 month old boy and it’s like he’s always on go mode and won’t sit still long enough to learn stuff like this. Any ideas on how to get his energy out to prepare him for learning?

When it comes to learning my sons is all for it! But how do I get him to focus and not just try and do whatever he wants? If that makes sense. For example we use dot markers to dot certain areas and he’d rather just go nuts and dot everywhere on the page. Do I just let him for now? Or is there some way to guide him? I feel I get frustrated and then he looses interested and I hate that for both of us :(

What can I do with my hyperlexic toddler? I’m running out of ideas. We are onto first grade level sight words and basic addition.
