i do all of these and i’ve been told by autistic friends that i have autism but i’ve never been properly diagnosed (mainly because my parents don’t want to and because it’s expensive probably) so i don’t ever tell people “yeah i have autism” i just say i like being filled with emotions everywhere all at once

as an autistic person. I hate the idea that we’re weird or being called “slow”. we can pick up on social queues and peoples emotions. I had another boy come up to me today (He’s autistic but he’s in “different” classes and he’ll visit my class from time to time.) I had my head down and i was just not feeling well at all. No one noticed but he came up to me, tapped me, and said “Are you okay miss” I nodded and he hugged me and left.

I was diagnosed with Asperger’s when I was 5 but it’s difficult to spot autism in girls, especially that type autism so my entire life I’ve never believed that acc have it, and I still don’t, unless the person that diagnosed me was like a super professional at his job, but I do have all these, I can’t even eat smth if the food I don’t like touched what I’m tryn to eat, Ykwim?
