My third graders one year would randomly break into song ALL THE TIME it was very cute but also felt like a strange Disney movie. Their favorites were to sing meow What Was I Made for and I Want It That Way by the Backstreet Boys.

My son has a strong dose of the tism, but he’s in a Gen Ed inclusive class. His favorite echolalia phrase right now is “readddyyyyyy set” because naturally it’s football season. His teacher sent me video laughing so hard, because it set off every other spicy brain kid, and all the Gen Ed boys. lol

As a ninth grader myself this is 100% true. One moment one boy is singing Taylor swift in the corner with his buddies and the next the whole class is screaming singing. Yes this had actually happened…multiple times.
