Yeah, because you cannot have two characters with the same power set wearing the same color. It overloads the morphing grid. This is why when we’ve got two “red” rangers like in Time Force or Ninja Storm one of them is named differently-Quantum Ranger and Crimson Thunder Ranger. The use of the same power set was the issue, not just the color. And Forever Red each ranger was using a different power set and different device to access the Morphin grid, had Wild West Power Rangers taken place a few months later after the events of the Ninja quest, she could have used her ninja powers and given the pink Dino coin to her ancestor, whom actually if memory serves, had not come to town on the stagecoach until the end of the episode.

Because if you have the same Morphers using the same energy causes a feedback loop that will ether overload the morphers or the people using them which is whey when the same type of morpher is used they go after different spectrums of the morphing grid and it’s ok for people using the same spectrum as long as there not using the same kind of morpher so a feedback loop isn’t created.

Morphin grid is a literal grid, there’s difference sections of the grid people can take power from depending on your morpher and color. But two people cannot safely use one section of the grid at the time so you use a different morpher

if there are to many of the same ranger from the same team then its bad because energy can flux but if its on a different team with a different ranger with a similar or same color then its ok because it draws power from a different side of the morphing grid

different parts of the grid. not the same morpher type. in theory, the Quantum ranger could have a whole team resembling the Time Force rangers.

There’s a fury that if two energy signatures match up too well like they’re the exact same then it’s more volatile. I always just fought pink range energy was more volatile than the other Ranger energies.
