A family friend had a daughter with precocious puberty at 2. She got her first period at 2!!! She was on puberty blockers for a decade. Now, she’s an adult and mother. So… not permanent.

My niece, who has Down Syndrome & started her period at age 9, benefitted greatly from puberty blockers. Once she was 12, she was taken off the blockers & now takes care of her monthly hygiene by herself. The 3 years made all the difference in the world. ❤️

as if Christianity and religious psychosis aren't a literal mental illness. 🙄 my daughter was almost placed on puberty blockers because she was trying to go into puberty at 7. Thankfully we were on it and were able to monitor and didn't end up needing it but it sure would have been nice for her to grow past 8 years old and not having to have to deal with the puberty stage in the literal 2nd and 3rd grade

As someone who started menstruation at 7 1/2 thank you. Been on BC hormones since 12😭 no one ever thought about hormone blockers. Maybe i wouldve been taller
