to the people saying they fill it out more often... there's a light indicator on your dishwasher that tells you when you need to fill it. i notice that my light comes on every 4-5 weeks, and i run my dishwasher 5-7x a week so almost everyday.

But if you’re using an all in one detergent tablet, I don’t think you need rinse aid or salt. It has it built in to the tablet

If I use dishwasher soap they come out full of soap if I don’t use soap they come out cloudy. I just hand wash

It also lubricates the drainage system. I literally had my dishwasher flooding the kitchen until I added Jet Dry to the system.

If your dishwasher has rinse aid and salt compartments, check the settings-most are set to expect both by default. I turned off the rinse aid setting on my Hisense since I don’t use it, and my dishes still come out spotless. At first, everything was wet and foggy until I read the manual and adjusted the settings. Worth checking!
