Not for communism but capitalism is genuinely failing, with the production and commercial use of AI, lower level jobs are taken up, which are basically a 5th of Americans jobs, CS majors are out of a job due to competitiveness and also AI being able to create apps that can do anything every single day and it only gets better, the only type of ability we have that can’t be taken by a AI for 100 years is medicine or politics arguably, the only options that guarantee you a job are literally something in the realm of medical treatment like surgery, anesthesia or physiotherapy, there is no happiness in jobs anymore. It’s not that I don’t wanna work, it’s that I wanna work and do something I want.

im very close to giving up, the career i plan to have has a very insane job market, the prices for everything keeps getting higher, i gave up on having a family because its too expensive, i dont know how much more i can take, the future is terrifying
