me and my bf still ft and dont have much to talk about but we still make time and effort because we enjoy each others company, if youre not feeling worthy or like hes not putting effort thats definitely worth a conversation

If it doesn’t feel too invasive, I’d love the idea of my partner being able to see me lol maybe a camera that you can see them through!

quite literally find hobbies that you dont share with your partner. have friends you dont share with your partner. you have to have yourself together before you can give pieces to anybody else. write them letters instead, it forces you to wait and have patience. if you're really missing them i used to make a lot of stuff for them for later or would start artistic projects based on how i felt.

Lowk if you’re the type to need reassurance, don’t even waste your time torturing yourself with long distance. I’ve been long distance for a year with my bf of 2 years and we’re still don’t great, but your relationship has to rely on trust and love, not reassurance

it’s probably time for deeper serious convos if ur seeing that there’s not much depth to the convos for a long time. talk abt the hard things like the spiraling, things you two could work on or incorporate to make the days easier—just generally being more honest and vulnerable

You truly need to learn to be on your own at least physically. You have to have fun build new experiences and remeber that he is just another part of your life. Not your whole life.

if he knows you need reassurance he should be willing to give it. finding things to do on facetime, i like to watch movies together on laptops or send each other meals to eat together. just small acts of love

Long distance is not just constant communication but also constant consideration, if you guys both want it then the effort will be put there no matter how busy the days are.

long distance is hard, but it takes EFFORT from BOTH parties, if you don’t feel there’s effort from the other party, have that communication. plan out the next time youre going to see each other, have intentional dates, and remember that ld can be a blessing as you have the opportunity to grow yourself separate of your partner until you guys can be together all the time :)

if you don’t have much to discuss with your partner when you two are distanced, while also being the type to overthink and need constant reassurance, it’s time to let it go

I went through this. I overthank every single day. But honestly this is just something you need to overcome and you will. I promise. Distract yourself with things you like but also me and my ex would call for hours so i always felt his presence and he would reassure me. It was never hard for me and my ex because Love was greater and we knew it would be worth it. 🥹

what does the relationship bring to you if he ignores your questions and doesn't have much to talk abt with you, it's there anything special abt ur relationship or r u in it just for the sake of having one? I know this sounds harsh but I wish I'd have realized these things sooner for myself. also sorry to judge ur relationship off one post lol it rly isn't my business

what’s flamme?? never heard of it before. i’m also in an ldr (nyc to italy) and the time zone difference makes me spiral nonstop. i used to blow up his phone at 3am just bc i couldn’t sleep, and then i’d feel worse when he didn’t reply. i even counted his whatsapp last-seen times like a psycho.,..i tried hobbies, workouts, journaling, even therapy, but nothing completely stops the overthinking. does anything actually helps when convos are dead bc i’d try anything at this point.

I mean the whole thing during long distance relationships is you guys have to rely on texting and calling and figuring out what to talk about those are your “dates“ he has to put in effort just like you do he should tell you if he’s busy doing homework or just not able to talk for a while so you’re not just wondering
