Moving seats would have been a good compromise for anyone else’s birthday (SIL giving heads up.l before filming first though). But it was OP’s birthday, she shouldn’t have to move, SIL can just not video

If you have to ask this question, you are so severely damaged you need to go to therapy. If you think people pushing past your boundaries in treating you like an object is acceptable you need therapy. Because that’s what him and his family all did. They there to celebrate her, but yet the sister-in-law is taking all the attention and making it about her. I would’ve never married into a family like that. I guess I should add the caveat again. I didn’t realize that when I got married, but him and I are no longer together and is terrible family.

If you're an 'influencer' YOU are the content, no other people. She had no reason to record OP, & even if OP decided she didn't want ANY of the event recorded or posted that would have been well within her rights. Her SIL is being an Ahole 100%.

Honestly, I would’ve told her no the first time she took out her phone at the dinner, and then if she continue to do it, I wouldn’t have fought , or blocked the camera, I would’ve just let her know that this will be the last thing she’s invited to since she can’t listen
