@beyati__: The reason you see a crazy amount of earth worms on the sidewalk post heavy rains is because they come out to the surface of the soil for oxygen. The air pockets that they usually create in the soil become filled with water hence pushing them to go to the surface. The problem I noticed was that a lot of them would wash onto the sidewalk by accident putting them at a high risk of being squished by people walking. This is your sign to consider putting them back to the surface of the soil post rain so they can go back to their safe space #earthworms #wormies #rainydays #rainstorm #rainyday
