That’s a highly inaccurate depiction of the environmental concerns for HS2 and also Zack has been one of the most vocal green politicians when it comes to protecting our irreplaceable habitats. Jenny Jones and Zack are in agreement on environmental concerns.

HS2 was not just going to “chop down some trees or something,” nor was it “massively needed” - as someone that lived in Birmingham at the time, it was obviously part of the gentrification project to turn Birmingham into a London commuter city and many local neighbourhoods were impacted by the building of commuter flats, plus “some trees” being literal ancient forests
