It’s smoke and mirrors, inflation will go thru the roof if that happens. Since the Orange turd has fired anyone that can give actual real numbers, he will act like inflation isn’t happening meanwhile things will continue to get higher in price like we are seeing now. It’s another con

Once Trump declares a national emergency he is waiting for a bribe. Pure and simple. The fed doesnt control long term rates. If someone says he does..they are misinformed. AKA faux news news max lies

Actually, it appears to be related to regulation costs.

This would just be another way to force the hand of the Fed and make them lower rates when they are not supposed to. What could go wrong? Not much except higher inflation, a loss of confidence in the central bank, and sooner or later higher rates to make up for the mess

So as the Fed spent tons of money proping up the economy our debt also ballooned so, it seems as though you want the debt to go up?

That’s not going to solve the housing problem. Might for a bit but home prices will increase again like they did before.

Who’s gonna tell her? As unemployment rises due to Congress inflicted Stag-Flation overspending prime bank lending rates are gonna rise which ultimately causes home prices to fall. If mortgage lending rates fall house prices climb helping increase debt for a few. Raising bank lending rates will pop the housing overpriced bubble; whereas, digging a deeper debt hole just to appease a few will eventually raise rates for everyone even higher. Don’t be surprised if nobody buys your mortgage backed securities and bank lending rates stay put at 4-4.5%
