Have you ever trained a dog where its genetic makeup is causing most of their aggression and fixed it completely? No hate at all I’m just curious since I’ve seen a lot of breeds like German shepherds be put down bc their genetics took over and all of their training went to waste.

I feel like it’s hard for people to see the ugly part of dog training. Yes, some dogs do require BE, but all deserve a chance. Some methods may be ‘harsher’ than others, but it can be necessary to see progress. I’m not educated on training, and I don’t know if your methods are “right” or “wrong”, but it’s clear that you care about these animals and you are trying your hardest to give them a fighting chance and I appreciate that.

They wont understand because they haven’t had to deal with the “worst cases” of dangerous dog behaviors. They don’t understand what “this is the dog’s last chance” means. They don’t understand a lot of these people have tried everything.

Oh yes let’s put the dog down instead of helping them. I dealt with English Bull Dog like this, guess what he’s doing great now.
