@golf_manual: How high should you tee the golf ball? 🤔 It depends on more than you think! Let’s start with your irons. First off — yes, you should tee it up. Don’t be a hero trying to hit it off the bare turf. Give yourself the perfect lie. With an iron, that means just a couple of millimetres off the ground, barely able to see the tee. As for Hybrids and fairway woods? It's the same idea, but a little higher — about a quarter inch. That way the club can sweep it nicely with a slightly shallower attack angle. Now the driver. This is where things get interesting. The general rule of thumb is to see half the ball above the crown. Simple and effective to the perfect launch and strike. But this is golf, so of course there are exceptions. If you want to keep it under control tee it lower. Tiger used to do this on tight fairways to keep the ball in play. The Downside? You might lose some distance. On the other hand, tee it higher if you want to bomb it. Just be prepared to watch it curve into someone’s garden. As Jackie Burke told Tiger: “The longer the ball’s in the air, the more time it has to go crooked.” Our advice? play around with it. Tee height might be small — but it can make a massive difference. #golf #golftips #golfer #golfmanual #golf_manual
