You’re right but there is a valid scholarly difference of opinion. I only eat zabiha halal myself but that doesn’t make me better than another who doesn’t.. don’t fall into that mindset.

the problem is the creation of the distinction of non dhabiha halaal vs dhabiha halaal. if it’s not dhabiha, it simply isn’t halaal.

1000% I’m a revert and will only consume halal meat I used to live in a town where there was 1 halal place to dine in at but I made the sacrifice to drive 2 hours every month to stack up on Halal meat!! I will never understand Muslims that eat non halal meat and try and justify it.
