Patriarchy has created such a toxic expectation that daily men have to perform for it. It is during adolescense that boys face daily normalized traumatization as behaviors once allowed are no longer because it would deem them less masculine. If too emotional would make them "too soft/sensative" even though men have feelings too. But as they grow older they're told to hide them, relish in violence and anger and hide the pain that it inflicts.

I think this is an important story to share but also dangerous. At the end of the day it’s the guns. We need gun reform.

These young people were deeply mentally disturbed. They all turned to violence as a way to remedy their unhappiness and pain. They all needed intense mental health care. they did receive seemed to just make it worse for them
