the main problem is the removal of safety features such as air bags as well. yes you might have a 5 point harness but youll still get whiplash if you don't have a helmet on to secure your head and neck

The proper street solution is a halfcage or bolt in full cage that you can remove the front section

most builds that involve a cage dont have airbags. thats the entire point. furthermore you can 100% design a cage for the street with safety in mind. there's a ton of old cars where the hood without a cage just basically removes the drivers head 🤝
