the main problem is the removal of safety features such as air bags as well. yes you might have a 5 point harness but youll still get whiplash if you don't have a helmet on to secure your head and neck

not at all. just postion the roll cage correctly. and thats what a bucket seat is for by definition. to hold you in place so you dont get tossed around in a crash lol

so basiclly cages are super save as long as you are wearing the devices you are supposed to wear if a car has a cage so no point there

Yea you dead up have to have a helmet my buddy told me don’t get a cage unless you want to wear a helmet every time you drive due to that very reason

The proper street solution is a halfcage or bolt in full cage that you can remove the front section

most builds that involve a cage dont have airbags. thats the entire point. furthermore you can 100% design a cage for the street with safety in mind. there's a ton of old cars where the hood without a cage just basically removes the drivers head 🤝
