omg thank you for the information. few days ago i overcook my soup, the water inside is gone and other things like fish cake is burnt to crisp, smoke abt to escape the lid. thankfully what i did is turn off my stove, pour water inside the pan then closed the lid.

You left out the most important part, she DID run water over it! Clearly there was still an ember hidden in there, but the point is she tried to do it the right way. She didn’t put it straight from the microwave to the trash. So the important part of the lesson is missing, just running water over it isn’t enough, you have to be extra extra thorough. Everyone commenting thinking she didn’t run water over it and that’s all they need to do could run into the same nightmare.
