dogs in mexican households live so long because they live off beans, tortillas, rice, caldos, chicken/meat. Whatever we eat they eat too, treat them like family

it’s good to cook for ur pet but not make its primary food source because animals need certain vitamins that are in those bags of food.

Guys if you’re going to do this, you either need to do all the research to add all the ingredients to make sure it’s whole and balanced or add a packet that does. I didn’t and my dog got crystals and bladder stones :(

Just an fyi, farmers dog also blends up organs and bones which are also very good for dogs. I used to do this too but if you go to a butcher you can get a “dog food” bag and it’s the ground “leftovers” it helps fill out the nutrition needed.

I recommend a nutritional supplement if you wish to go this way. 99% of people will not meet their nutritional needs without it or a balanced meal from a canine nutritionist. I use Azestfor
