Yes! Just wanted to add- In my experience working in hr for a very long time, many companies have all resumes funneled to one big database- like workday or whatnot. They’re not going in each site - LinkedIn, indeed, and checking resumes there directly. In most cases- not all. Obviously depends on the company. Smaller employers may do this. It also works the same way when companies post jobs. When they post, it goes to wherever the employer decides to spend its job ad posting budget $ on. LinkedIn tends to be expensive vs zip recruiter, for instance.

I can’t speak for other companies but jobs posted on LinkedIn and indeed all applications go straight to our ATS. I don’t log into LinkedIn to view the apps. I see it in workday when I log in.

I don’t wanna apply to companies that I’m not interested in . Some companies are not worth my time . So mass applying seems weird cuz 100’s applications to trash weirdo companies doesn’t make sense
