Devil's advocate here - until we prioritize education above all else, we need religion. There are too many people who think along the lines of "without god, why have morals?" and that kind of thinking is unsettling when applied on a wide scale...

Religion or not, Jesus is Lord. At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. When the veil is removed when we die it will be seen plain and clearly. You will either rejoice, or scream in eternal regret.

Totally agree, I've been telling people that for years. Also if a politician passes a law that has to do with their religious beliefs it should only apply to people of their faith not the average person.
