How do you fix when you get a gas rebate? The bank statement shows it as a credit but when it transferred into quickbooks it shows as an expense.

Yeah, they don’t understand that. The exclude button is for when you have linked bank accounts and occasionally the transactions get double entered.

exclude is mostly when you actually bring in bank transactions that may be duplicated.

We had some very high interest rates on some credit cards. I balanced transferred all that high interest debt to a new credit card, interest free for a year so I could pay it off quickly without paying interest. No I don’t know how to categorize this in quickbooks. I have had it under uncategorized but I know I can’t leave it there. Not sure what to do! Do you have any suggestions? Thanks
