@not_the_real_ems: Marius was a two year old healthy giraffe, that was euthanized in front of guest at the Copenhagen Zoo, Denmark. He was euthanized because the zoo claimed “he was genetically unsuitable for future captive breeding”, because of him being too closely related to the other giraffes. His remaining were cut up in front of guest and taken to the lions to eat.
