I would never have called it packed except around Christmas. The Lansing Mall was pretty busy. The Meridian Mall was Packed.

AYO MY UNCLE USED TO HELP RUN THAT MALL😂 unfortunately most malls get bought by super rich foreigners and slowly stores start pulling out and not renewing contracts. My uncle now runs the mall in Okemos (Meridian) Mall. It’s really nice there!

Okay now my fyp got WAAAY too local. I feel like the only reason this mall is not closed, is because of the ZapZone, Barnes and Noble, and the theater are there. Otherwise, it would probably be closed🥀

Lansing Native here 👋 the owners priced everyone out of rent! Plenty of stores you see along Saginaw HWY used to all be in the mall, including restaurants but other clothing stores and stuff as well. It was literally cheaper to buy land and build on it.
