@carly.jae: Replying to @romesaimtiaz7 I started to feel like something was there, but couldn't see anything at first. So, I started taking a video every day of looking up and swallowing starting on May 12th. In the first video nothing was visible, but this video was taken on May 18th and (while subtle) finally confirmed that I wasn't imagining it! Ultrasound showed a 2cm solid nodule TI-RADS 3. I had to go to a few more doctors who would take me seriously when I said I wanted it removed, especially considering I had started having symptoms like a dry cough, globus sensation, and dysphasia. I finally got someone to listen and had a left hemi thyroidectomy on July 24th to remove it based on the compressive symptoms with no expectations of it being malignant. At 5:40 p.m. on August 1st, just a couple minutes after the pathology report released online (and I had seen my result), I got a call from my surgeon confirming papillary thyroid carcinoma. Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to answer from my experience if I can! #thyroid #thyroidcancer #papillarythyroidcarcinoma

If you're going through something similar, or have any questions at all by all means ask away!
