Sounds eerily similar to my ex.. covert narc that turned malignant during the discard phase. Worst 2 years of my life. The first 8 years was mostly just covert narcissism and the slow, long manipulation game. Until I started to see what he was doing and call him out on things. Then he amped up the abuse and turned into the most evil, cruel, demonic person I’d ever met. 4 months free of him and still fighting for my sanity and peace daily. 😭
