The same happened to me today. I scanned a skeleton Halloween sign the tall ones usually seen at front doors… it said $5 and after it was scanned it rang up $8!!!

I have been in so many stores lately with penny items that are missing tags. They refuse to type in barcode but offer to sell it to you for the price of a “similar” item 🤣 I think not
