I’d take it to trial and push for the $2 million, especially since the email thread proves he was their choice. The only reason they refused to hire him was his military service, which is clear discrimination.

I would've taken the job and I'm sure he did because of this..He won the discrimination suit and It's on record If they fire him or write him up without cause in the future it can be deemed as retaliation for the law suit and then bigger bucks are at stake. He is guaranteed this job. This was a decision that was well thought out.

I just interviewed and made the mistake of admitting I have over 10 years experience. Prior to that it was a perfect interview. Next day I see the job reposted with the requirement stating a min of 5 years and max of 10 years experience! Blatant age discrimination!
