Idk how I would feel or react if someone I loved for so long said, after years that they loved me back then like, you did but not enough to fight with me??? That why this ending is so bitter to me, you can see how he stoped and his faced dropped for a sec there and I think that he could not believe that after all the time the spent separated he says it, after wasting so much time apart form each other, it was selfish of him to say that there, he was healed and was happy to meet a “friend” again after so long, and with that he just opened a wound that was closed, the sadness part in the movie is the telephone scene, he was a coward for letting the one he loved with no answer for so long, bad yall can say it was the time and the place they used to live that didn’t let them be together, but I say: if you love someone, you find a way.
