Fixing Genos: my attempt They really did Genos dirty in One Punch Man Season 3, so guess what I started doing? I started learning animation. This clip is my attempt at fixing Genos’ walk animation using nothing but PNG slides and timing. Just six seconds. Nothing crazy. But it’s personal. And I’m planning to do the same for more One Punch Man scenes and even Blue Lock next, especially those moments where characters just slide instead of actually moving. That Garou sliding still hurts to watch. It’s honestly wild how a show that made fans wait this long turned into such a disappointment animation wise. One Punch Man had some of the most iconic motion, weight, and impact in anime history. Then suddenly it felt stiff. Flat. Like characters were being dragged across the screen instead of living in it. But I’m not here to hate. I’m here because I care. Genos is one of my favorite characters, not because he wins, but because he never stops trying. He literally fails over and over again. He ties. He gets destroyed. He loses parts. He explodes. And yet the next time danger shows up, he’s already stepping forward again. No hesitation. No fear of being rebuilt. No attachment to the old version of himself. That mindset hits hard. He’s always aiming for one thing. Winning. Even though he has technically never won a single major battle. And somehow, that makes him more inspiring than characters who never lose. He doesn’t give up. He upgrades. He adapts. He comes back. That’s why I couldn’t just sit there and watch him get reduced to PNG slides. So yeah, this is my attempt at fixing his movement. Six seconds. A small step. But I’m learning. And I’m not stopping here. One Punch Man could’ve been so much better. But it’s okay. I don’t blame anyone. I just refuse to let them do my boy Genos like that. More fixes coming.
