This is great for America, but don’t try this with airlines like Ryanair. Airlines who don’t just measure the size of your carry-on, but also make you weigh it. You might be able to fit more things into your carry-on, but that means more weight.

Looks like you can just press the air out of the bag without vacuuming. That may save enough space without the deep wrinkles.
