I was lucky primary weren't very strict and I also when through the stage of putting as many hair bobbles and scrunchies in my hair.. then in secondary we were only one of the schools in our time that never had a uniform

The scrunchy socks wouldn’t be seen dead without 3 pairs lol skill it was to get them perfect lol .. also the big messy (cool) buns or the straightest of hair that was ‘ironed’ … uniform had to have skirt rolled up shirt out over it the chunkiest of ties lol

Honestly my school was the only one in my area that did the scrunchy socks 🤣 as a 1st year I only wore one for like a month until my cousin in school who was 5th year realised and was like wear 2 pairs to get it to scrunch right lol I was wondering for a month what everyone was doing to get them scrunched right 🤣

secondary sch was tights but primary was the scrunchy socks and for our confirmation we HAD to wear knee socks so we all matched lol turning on the cooker to heat the home economics room or the bunsens in science as they were mobiles with no heat lol
