@artem_pankovich: Skoda Fabia 1.2 MPI (BZG) Crankshaft Seal Replacement Step by Step. • In this video, we are working on a Skoda Fabia with a 1.2 MPI (engine code BZG), performing a complete replacement of the timing drive kit — the timing chain system. • Special attention is given to the replacement of the front crankshaft oil seal, which includes several important details: • not only the seal itself is replaced, but also the intermediate sleeve, which serves as the sealing surface; • the sleeve comes without a new sealing ring, so it must be ordered separately and installed correctly; • if the ring is not replaced, oil leaks will appear in this area, and an inexperienced mechanic may mistakenly replace the crankshaft seal repeatedly without solving the real problem; • the central crankshaft bolt is a single-use fastener, since it undergoes plastic deformation during tightening: first torqued to specification, and then turned an additional 180°.
