@beccaandbrego: the vet has said it’s just seasonal allergies but I don’t want to put steroids in him if I don’t have to. i’ve tried baths and sprays and external products but if there’s any supplements or foods that you have found to help with itchiness and allergies, please lmk!! #activedog #itchydog #dogsoftiktok
we were doing cytopoint but it turned into $150 a month and we couldn't afford it. I reached out to a group and asked the same thing. they recommended these two shampoos. I do them both and the itching was gone! reapply every 2-3 weeks

A common allergy many dogs have is chicken!! Chicken is a very common filler in dog food, treats and other products! When we cut chicken from our dogs diet he wasnt itchy anymore. Hope you find the issue though even if it isnt chicken :)

Cytopoint is so worth it to get them up and over the initial jump, and then using holistic remidies for maintenance

bee pollen i swear by it. I get it at my farmer's market. 1 spoon full a day and after 3 months later no more itching, licking paws and reverse sneezing!

beef makes roo SO itchy!! along with flea bites. she has preventatives but i’m pretty sure the fleas die once they bite. i figured out roo is also allergic to flea saliva or whatever 😭😭😭 so bug spray is a necessity for her

Jax & Daisy “Don’t Let Your Dog Itch” shampoo AND lotion. It’s amazing. It helped two of my dogs get rid of their black yeasty build-up on their tummies/crotch areas

Coconut oil. My girl gets really itchy & has very sensitive skin, I give her coconut oil in her food and also rub it on her skin after baths or when she's extra itchy.

Yes! Mako I have noticed gets really itchy too this time of year. We are trying native pets gutwell itchy skin so I’m hoping that will make a difference for him

Omega supplements or actual dried fish or sardines! We usually do the dried whole herring or sardines. We also use douxo s3 mousse at the end of the night (we get it from amazon or petco). Our vet prescribed it to us once but it’s a lot cheaper on amazon or petco. We apply it to his paws, underbelly, and armpits bc that’s where he usually breaks out. Hoping you can find something that works for your pup!! We know how frustrating it can be🥺🫶🏽
