And it pisses me off that everyday I have to drop my son off at school everyday and pretend like everything is ok. Pretend like the world isn’t falling apart. Pretending as if I don’t know that I’m putting him into a system that isn’t built for him to thrive. And for what. So the governments can keep doing these things and we just have to remain helpless. ive only ever listened to this recording to its entirety once. i remember the first responder helped hind pray, its a specific prayer children learn to memorize. when she was praying with the first responder, it seemed like the first time hind has prayed through the entire verse on her own, something that many children are praised by their families for. she was surrounded by her deceased loved ones, finally hitting a milestone that her family was waiting for her to learn
