So many YouTube lawyers here 😂 I haven’t seen the entire video of the officer throwing himself under the bus….however it isn’t illegal to run plates…and when you do the registered owners information pops up if it says their license is suspended then that’s probable cause for a stop doesn’t matter if you commit a traffic violation or not….and let’s just say you’re not the registered owner… you still have to have a valid drivers license to operate a vehicle

The tag number doesn’t tell them the identity of the driver. The officer does admit this on camera if you listen closely. Have you ever had someone else drive your car? Friend, mechanic or family member? The officer is making an illegal stop by his own admission

Does not matter if driver is the registered owner or not. They still have the right to verify you are legally able to drive since the reason for the stop was or is revisteres owner is flagged suspended. Stop watching YouTube and TikTok for legal advice. If it's wrongly executed then your attorney and judge can handle it appropriately.
