Honestly, I personally just hate going to weddings so if I have to go to a wedding, I don’t want to waste my 3 day weekend doing that.

Some people do that when there are out of town guests which are family members to make it easier for them to travel and have that extra day off so they don’t need to book it off work.

I remember watching Oprah as a kid and they covered a wedding that happened on July fourth weekend and a bunch of people got into car accidents and someone was decapitated. The married couple begged people not to do it
