i read AB 4th and it flowed nicely for QOS as you meet characters that come to play later in the series but its all personal preference, people will tell you their opinions but it all depends on you, if you want to start with knowing all about celena before TOG and have a good memory then read it first, if you want the mystery and dont mind going back in time for one book then read it 3rd or 4th

I think it depends on how you like to read books; I personally read it first because I like understanding the characters backgrounds and their motivations, but if you like a bit more suspense and having motivations revealed more as you get to know the character I would read it third :-) chronologically it’s set before the events of TOG so it’s all about informing the character of Celaena

Honestly, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it either way! I recommend Throne of Glass first, and AB third or (like I did) fourth. I liked getting the backstory when I already knew the FMC, it felt right 🥰 enjoy!!

I started ToG first and I’m right now on Assasin’s blade as a third. And I can tell you that if I started with AB first I probably wouldn’t get into the series. The first half of AB is pretty boring to me. It’s taking me so long to get through it :/. So if you want to get invested fast I recommend ToG first. (It’s also how the writer recommended it to be read.)

I think you'll enjoy either way but I did AB first and loved it so much! it's a more casual introduction to the series and gives you an idea about the main characters life 💕🥰

I did a lot of research and I suggest you do the same so you can find what suits ur style of reading. I’ve just finished assassins blade and about to start TOG so can’t say if it was right but it was the right journey for me 🥰

this depends on how you want to feel about it, i read it first and i wouldn’t change a thing it’s one of my favourite books in the entire series, but a friend of mine read it 5th and she really couldn’t have cared less about it. She just read it for the characters you need to know about whereas the way I read it meant it was actually a part the story, it just meant a lot more. Also, TAB finishes and TOG takes off right from where that finishes so I don’t see any reason to start with throne of glass to then 3 books in go back to before throne of glass, may as well just start at the beginning

Ngl I read it first and kinda wish I read it third. Depends how bad ur memory is ig 😭 but I promise it’s not that deep, the TikTok controversy is so dramatic. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it either way!
