@tayflemm: The other day, a kid asked me about the mark on Kaison’s cheek, and for the first time, I noticed him noticing. I knew the day would eventually come but it officially hit me that this was the beginning of a lifetime of questions he might get. And in that moment, I knew it was my job to make sure he’s never caught off guard, never ashamed, never unsure of how to answer. So we had a little mirror talk.
