Heat for mostly anything here in Canada. Just used a torched recently to remove caliper bracket bolts

Yeah North of Scotland they salt the roads in the winter I've got a GYS one. I'm inclined to pop a stainless nut on any exposed threads on my own vehicles, like the track rod ends just to keep the threads clean for next time
