spooky cheesecake brownies 👻✨ i also did a small tutorial for the ghosts, they look a little different bc the brownie batter is thicker and it’s hard to blend together😵‍💫 recipe: brownies: 1 cup granulated sugar (200g) ¼ cup packed brown sugar (55g) ½ cup melted butter, very warm not hot (113g) ⅓ cup neutral oil (55g) 2 large eggs + 1 egg yolk 1 tsp vanilla extract (4g) ¾ cup all-purpose flour (95g) ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (50g) ½ tsp instant espresso powder ½ tsp salt (3g) dark chocolate, measure with your heart 🫶🏽 cheesecake layer: 12 oz cream cheese, softened (340g) ½ cup granulated sugar (100g) ½ tsp vanilla extract (2.5g) pinch of salt 2 eggs, room temp ¼ cup plain greek yogurt or sour cream (60g) melted dark chocolate for the faces instructions: preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper. in a pan over low heat, melt the butter. remove from heat and let it cool for a minute or two so it’s warm, not hot. add to a bowl & whisk in the oil, granulated sugar + brown sugar for a full minute until glossy. add the eggs, egg yolk + vanilla and whisk for another full minute until the mixture looks pale and slightly thick. sift in the flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder + salt. gently fold until just combined, then fold in the chocolate. make the cheesecake layer by beating the softened cream cheese + sugar until smooth. mix in the vanilla, salt + greek yogurt. add the eggs one at a time and mix just until combined. reserve some of the brownie batter + cheesecake batter for the ghosts. instead of trying to make perfect layers, alternate spoonfuls of the brownie batter and cheesecake batter throughout the pan. gently swirl the two together, being careful not to over-swirl. after swirling, use the leftover brownie batter to fill in any areas that have a lot of cheesecake and smooth it out so you have a good base for the ghosts. for the ghosts, transfer remaining cheesecake to a piping bag. pipe the general shape of each ghost onto the brownie surface, then use the remaining cheesecake batter to fill in the shapes. bake for about 30–35 minutes, or until the edges are set and puffed, the cheesecake is set, and the center still has a slight fudgy jiggle. let cool completely, then pipe on the faces with melted chocolate :) #cheesecake #brownies #Recipe #fallbaking #bakingrecipe
