I have a beagle. Just a little tip for when you come home and she reacts this way, turn your back to her until she is calm. She will eventually greet you in a calmer manner. I know it sounds mean but a less anxiety filled pup is a happier pup.

I’m sure you already know that but try to ignore her when you come back in and don’t acknowledge her until she settles. Otherwise you’re just reinforcing this behaviour. I know it’s hard, I also have a beagle. Mine doesn’t move off the couch when I leave and just calmly wags his tail when I come back.
