@ashallaboutmoney: If you pay down your credit cards before the due date, that’s totally fine but do make sure you keep the card balance low (or pay it again) before the credit card statement closes! #credit #score #tips #creditcard #card

Will your score increase if you make the minimum payment by the due date and an additional payment before the statement closing date?

Wouldn’t you want your balance to be $0 on the statement date ? (Pay the full amount before the due date)

if you're in such a hurry to pay the bill early or b4 a certain date, why not just pay cash and it's over and go on about your business

Ive heard people say its better to pay off half of what youve spent on the due date…wait till after the statement date to pay the rest off. Is that a good way to built credit? Also does it depend on the credit card the order in which your due date and statement dates happen? Ive seen some people say your statement happens first THEN the due date.

Would pending charges show up on the statement? For example if I bought something on the 14th and it says “pending” on my banking app, would it still show up on statement day and affect my credit score ?

I pay my credit card off at the end of every month. if I can't afford it I don't buy it. I use it to avoid using cash.
