I get that both buses are bad, but if one is driving full speed off a cliff, and the other is driving in the wrong direction. by not getting on the one going in the wrong direction, your still getting on the one that's going off the cliff

Here in Australia voting is mandatory for everybody. There are fines if you choose not to vote. Although it supports higher voting numbers. What are your thoughts on the differences between mandatory voting countries like Australia and the US with poor voter turn out?

As someone who once had to change where they lived (full city swap) months after getting a job because a whole bus line was stopped... sometimes that "last mile" is even longer. lol

Born in Istanbul/Turkey and now living in London, I quiet literally can not imagine there not being a bus station everywhere.. even in the smallest village in Turkey where 3 thousand people lives there are multiple bus routes..

More stops = preferential voting, but I feel like this analogy lacks what is done instead… walk 10 miles instead of getting off at the stop 1 mile away because of (albeit justified) discontent with the bus service?

I don't feel this is a good argument. it's still boiling down to "it's not what I want, so I won't support it". The choice isn't leftist or liberal it's left vs. right. You have to take that bus, even if it means walking 2 miles instead of 1.

This video won't go nearly as far as it deserves/needs to. Easier to blame voters than those in power who are forbidden from meeting the people where they are (installing more stops). All boils down to serving two masters.
