Chelley was one of the first black women who didn’t have to struggle in LI USA or UK—she was sought after, confident, and secure in herself. You’d think she would’ve been praised and uplifted, especially with how much the public has been begging for Black women to receive better treatment on the island. I disagree. My friends and I all related to Olandria for her personality from day 1 because we have so much in common. I could not relate to Chelley at all but have no problems with her. I think you are doing Olandria's humor and personality a disservice when you credit her popularity to sympathy votes/her relationship. We loved her on the show once she started opening up and really being herself.
