I was abused as a child and my mother did not believe me, my mom would slap me across the face when I would tell her. I was abused again and again. One day my mom came to me and said she was touched by her son, I told her what she told me. I did not slap her but I pushed her away. I went to therapy still does not work. it is in my head forever. I have gone through depression I have anxiety. I still live with because I was never protected. I am 60 now and will carry this burden the rest of my life. I wish Teump would believe these woman this is all real!

Vanessa for one I’m so sorry to hear that. I thank you from the bottom of my heart that you’re speaking out on your own experiences. I am speaking out for the ones that are going through it now or in the past I am so thankful I never had that but so many do. Working in special education I wonder how many have had that and they just can’t speak up because they have no words. Kids were also not believed or felt ashamed and it was their fault. i was sa from age 2 till i was 30 by family members and non family and exs and im 36 now and in a healthy relationship but still trying to heal but its hard as hell

❤️❤️❤️Thank you so much I am so sorry you ever had to go through this. You story sounds so much like mine. I buried my story so deep I never thought years later it would affect my life the way it did. When I lost my dad he had asked me years to give a great man and love a chance because they are some great men and all I want is for my daughter Libbie to find, have and know what true love is. I never told my dad but I did promise him that I would give it all I had. Thank you for your kind sweet words and encouragement for those who do suffer allow. ❤️❤️💯💯

I don't speak about mine either, I will say my abuser was a total stranger it's very hard to talk about. but hearing this really helps thanks Vanessa. I do wish I had known 6 years ago because I'm so damaged right now I'm thankful for my wonderful husband for being here he is a very good listener but he also hurts for me but he tells me how strong I am.
