if you want to climb a dune, go to the dune climb at the parking lot. from there you just walk up. if it's too much you walk back down to your car.

I heard there’s another easier way to the top. I believe you just walk along the shore, can’t recall if it’s to the left or right, but you walk a little ways and find the alternate way
