As a person with several genetic disorders, I would pay untolds amount of money for a cure. Yes it could go a bad way but curing people of these genetic diseases that cause so much suffering would be one of the greatest feats made by man

I would like a debate, I dont consider stuff like this eugenics unless it becomes forced by the government or you get special treatment for getting these kinds of gene enhancements (like getting different jobs, government funding etc) I also think warning parents about if their kid will have down syndrome or any debilitating desease before its born is good as long as they are not forced to abort etc

as someone with a genetic disorder this gives me hope that maybe one day I might be able to fix my problem and be "normal" even if being normal is over rated 😅. (for the curious look up Wilson Disease its a genetic disorder involving moving copper through your system)
